Summary: Villa Thai Orchid is a short cab ride from the airport and located within the old city of Chiang Mai. The staff is excellent, friendly, very accommodating, professional and we enjoyed our stay. The only issue was that there was insufficient hot water for a few hours, but otherwise I highly recommend this hotel. It is a short walk to restaurants, temples, shopping, bars and museums. Even those other places are an inexpensive Grab ride away.
