Summary: It’s a nice little boutique hotel in a very convenient location. The rooms however are very small. I booked an executive balcony room and we were on the 6th floor- the balcony was small and insubstantial to the point that I didn’t feel safe out there. The king bed was up against the sliding doors to the balcony on one side without room for a bedside table and the lack of space made it difficult for older people to get up in the middle of the night from that side. There is no hiding from the fact that you can hear the noise from the skytrain which is only 100 metres away. The hotel is trying hard and has attempted to create points of difference with an iPad to run the room’s features, a scent menu and a pillow menu; however, be warned, don’t be foolish like me and select the memory foam pillows that were so high that both my wife and I ended up with sore necks!
