Positive: Small well equipped little vacation home in nice location, about 2.5km from Backaryd where there is a little ICA store and gas station and tourist information. Everything worked, actually worked well, including the heater which we needed since the weather was cool and damp the first couple of days. Very quiet and calm environment. The country road behind the house had very little traffic so it presented zero problems even for those of us who are very noise sensitive. Lake within 5 minutes walking distance had a small dock and tiny beach but was great for swimming. Owner was very friendly and very responsive to any additional needs and very easy going.

Negative: Bed and sleeping couches were very soft and old/overused. A big problem (though mentioned in the description of the house) was the VERY low ceiling in all but the entrance way and bathroom. This means that anyone taller that 175cm (5ft 8inches) would have to stoop in order to move around in kitchen, living-room and bedroom and this made the whole house feel cramped. Lawn should have been mowed before we arrived instead of the day we left (we stayed 1 week). The 3 lawn chairs (only 2 covers) were rickety/flimsy (of cheap design) and therefore a bit tricky to use since one had to be careful not to tip over when adjusting them. The dock where the row boat was located (about 10minutes walk along the lake) was VERY funky and in no way looked like advertised in the description of the place. The row boat was fine though the oars were a bit too small and their fastenings needed to be better secured. See attached pictures for present day dock as well as view of the little house itself and the nearby dock for swimming.
