Summary: Most notably, the Expedia description said that a basic double room came with a private bathroom. That’s not true. It’s shared bathroom and I was unprepared for that. The facilities are ok. A little run down but clean. Mosquitoes get into the room because there are holes in the window screens and gaps under and above the door. I’m glad I had a plugin mosquito repellent. But I got bitten by red ants… Another challenge is that it’s a bit of a walk from the main road. Since it gets dark at around 6pm, I didn’t feel comfortable walking back to my room from restaurants on the Main Street (I think it’s called queens rd) at night after dinner. And it’s too close to take a taxi from Main Street restaurants to the hotel. The staff is nice and offered to keep an eye for me as I walked back. Regardless, I avoided walking after dark as much as possible. Otherwise, it’s fine for a short stay.
