Summary: Mixed reactions for this resort. The resort and the surroundings is beautiful. The Peruvian / Costa Rican was one of our best meals. The breakfast was also fulfilling. Why the low rating on our side? Well, one of our neighbors (full of teenagers) was quite noisy - going into 11pm-12am screaming. We alerted the hotel staff numerous times. Alonzo, shame on you, picked up the phone and was in no way empathetic and did not know how to handle this situation. His response to my wife, "they are guests, too". Excuse me?!?! and what made it worse, he wanted to come to our room and get a sampling of the noise himself. Come on now ?!?! -- "come into our room?" This was so ridiculous. That is not how a 5 star resort handles noisy guests and turn down hours. They need to better train their staff on protocols or reprimand this staff member. This pretty much ruined our multi night stay here. The management next morning was regretful, but it cannot take back our night. Because of this, it's a shame -- we cannot fully recommend this resort.
