Summary: Lovely budget hotel, tucked away in a quiet valley just outside the town. Clean enough, spacious, the staff were friendly and attentive all week. The breakfast and food were excellent. A little shop next door had decent supplies The price was reflected in bedding/towels that were absolutely fine but could do with a refresh. No midstay room clean so you sort yourself out. Main criticism is hotel pulls its shutters down at 10/10:15, sometime earlier, leaving guests stranded outside banging or having to call the manager’s mobile to get in. Defintely need a review of that policy to be more welcoming to Western guests, but overall a friendly welcoming place. The owner took us across to the village’s annual festival on the Saturday night, dancing, food, photos - we were treated like VIPs and it was really special Just close enough to walk to the cricket stadium if that’s why you’re visiting - but very hilly and 40 minutes so won’t suit all. Taxis very readily available and cheap
