Located in this string of shops as well, is a bottle shop, convenience store, surf shop and fish and chip shop. Walking into Avalon town centre is only 10 minutes walk, along the creek and via the yellow brick road. Woolworths is the main supermarket in town, and favourite restaurants include SaBiang Thai, Bistro Boulevarde French, Alma, MeKong Vietnamese, not to mention the best sourdough from La Banette and Bonfire Bread.

If you fancy a day trip into the city, palm beach or manly, the bus stop is only 2 minutes walk away. The neighbourhood is friendly and quiet. No parties please.
